About Trayer
Trayer, established in 1929, manufactures and supplies products to a broad customer base in the heavy
truck, off-highway, construction and agricultural fields. Our major customers are Caterpillar, CNH, Dana, Daimler, Federal Mogul, Ford, Freightliner, Hendrickson, International, JLG, Meritor, Volvo, and Westport.
We are an independently owned, non-union shop operating out of one location with 200,000 plus square feet of manufacturing space. Our fully integrated metal working facility features conventional and CNC
machining, centerless and ID grinding, and punch press capabilities. An important adjunct to our capabilities is the existence of a comprehensive, in-house heat
treating operation for through hardening and case-hardening of ferrous materials.

Integral quench batch furnaces along with microprocessor-controlled pit furnaces ensure high quality, cost-effective carburizing, carbonitriding, nitriding and neutral hardening. High and low volume induction hardening systems with single-shot and scanning capabilities. Our primary products are truck chassis parts (king pins, lock pins, spring hanger pins and shackles). A continuously growing segment of business are hardened and ground pins and shafts varying in length up to 10' and diameters up to 5".
